Did you know that the College of Marin has over 90,000 books, including many course textbooks?  You can search for books online using the Library Catalog, or you can browse the shelves by subject area using the Library of Congress Classification System.  
If you can't find what you need at the College of Marin, you can search other Marin County and Bay Area Libraries.

The Library has many textbooks on course reserve!  

  • Most books can be checked out for 2 hours at a time, but some for 1 day or more.  

  • All books are free to check out!

Find Books at COM and Across Marin County

The College of Marin is now a member of MARINet!  Find books at the College of Marin and throughout the Marin County Public Libraries using the MARINet Catalog.  

Place a hold on an item, or have books sent to your local branch for pick-up.

Browse for books at the College of Marin Library using the Library of Congress (LC) Classification System.  The Library has a guide which will tell you which section to visit for books on a particular subject.  For example, the "N" section includes books about art!
